Inmarsat’s second Global Xpress Satellite Successfully Launched

Baikonour, Kazakhstan, February 2, 2015 – Inmarsat (LSE:ISAT.L), announces the successful launch of its second Global Xpress (GX) satellite (Inmarsat-5 F2) on board an International Launch Services (ILS) Proton Breeze M rocket launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Sunday, February 1st at 12:31 GMT.

Orbital Stockholders Approve Merger with ATK’s Aerospace and Defense Groups

ORBCOMM Completes InSync Software Acquistion

Genstar Capital to Acquire Telestream

Nevada City, California, January 7, 2015–Telestream, a provider of live and on-demand digital video tools and workflow solutions, today announced that the private equity investment firm Genstar Capital has entered into a definitive agreement to purchase Telestream, Inc. Orbcomm Completes Acquisition of SkyWave

Ottawa, Canada, January 5, 2015--Orbcomm has completed the acquisition of SkyWave Mobile Communications (SkyWave), the largest M2M service provider on the Inmarsat global L-band satellite network.  Based in Ottawa, Canada, SkyWave adds more than 250,000 subscribers, 400 channel partners, annualized revenues of over US$ 60 million and Adjusted EBITDA of over US$ 12 million.

TICRA Acquires SATSOFT Satellite Software Product Line

Copenhagen, Denmark, January 5, 2015 – TICRA has acquired all rights to the software brand SATSOFT and will market the product as part of its portfolio of software for the satellite business. SATSOFT is used by engineers to quickly develop shaped beam and multi-beam antenna designs, assess antenna coverage and gain, conduct antenna trade studies, and perform other payload engineering tasks.
